Oatmeal Linen Shirt
A warm oatmeal in 100% linen, the colour of natural, undyed cloth worn as a shirt. Linen has a natural slub texture that gives the fabric quiet depth and visible character. It starts with a slight crispness and gets softer with every wash, improving with use rather than wearing out. The hollow fibre structure breathes actively, moving heat away from the body through the day. The oatmeal tone reads calm and considered. It works with almost any colour and never asks for attention.

Linen comes from the flax plant, one of the oldest cultivated crops on earth. It needs no irrigation beyond rainfall, no pesticides, and every part of the plant gets used. The fabric it produces is stronger than cotton, gets softer with every wash, and breathes actively through the day.
Our linen is woven at a mid-weight that sits between a summer cloth and an all-year one. It has a natural slub — slight irregularities in the weave that are not flaws but the character of the fibre. No two metres are identical.
The oatmeal tone is undyed. What you're seeing is the natural colour of the flax. That means no chemical treatment against the skin, and a colour that deepens slightly and settles beautifully over time.
The Detail
- Linen has more character than cotton and more drape than hemp. The natural slub in the weave gives it a texture that's visible and tactile without being coarse. Starts slightly crisp on first wear, softens with washing and use into something that moves freely with the body. Breathes actively through the day. The oatmeal tone means the natural texture of the fabric reads particularly well. Honest and considered rather than plain.
- 100% linen. Hollow fibre construction breathes actively and moves heat away from the body. Gets softer with every wash, improves over time rather than wearing out. Natural slub texture gives it depth plain cotton cannot replicate. No synthetic blends, no chemical finishes. Corozo buttons from tagua palm. Made in fair-wage units in small batches.
- Machine wash cold. Dry in shade. No tumble drying. Linen softens with every wash. This is the fabric improving, not degrading. The oatmeal will age naturally over time, which is the fabric being honest. If needed, iron on medium heat while slightly damp. Azo-free dyes keep it skin-safe through repeated washing.
- Oatmeal is one of the most wearable neutrals in a wardrobe. Pairs with everything. Olive, terracotta, navy, stone, indigo. Wear with dark trousers for contrast, cream or beige for a tonal look. Works tucked with chinos and leather footwear, untucked with linen trousers and sandals. The Oatmeal Linen is the shirt you build other outfits around.

FAQs
Quick answers.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash. Avoid tumble drying — air dry flat or on a hanger. Do not bleach. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp, or steam. The fabric gets softer and better with every wash
Yes — linen wrinkles naturally and that's part of its character. The creases soften with wear and give the fabric its relaxed, lived-in look. If you prefer a crisper finish, a light steam while slightly damp works well.
Linen does shrink slightly after the first wash — usually 3–5%. Our shirts are pre-washed to minimise this. Wash in cold water and air dry to keep the fit consistent over time.
