The Detail
- Sateen sits closer to the skin than a plain weave. There's a smoothness to it that reads dressed up without feeling stiff. Holds its shape through the day without creasing badly. Breathes well for a close-woven fabric.
- 100% organic cotton, GOTS-certified. Sateen weave without synthetic blends. Concealed placket construction. Corozo buttons from tagua palm, not plastic. Azo-free dyes, safe on skin. Made in fair-wage units.
- Machine wash cold. Wash separately or with light colours. Dry in shade. No tumble drying. Iron while slightly damp for a crisp finish. Avoid direct sunlight when drying to preserve the white.
- Wear with navy, charcoal, or black trousers for formal occasions. Layer under a blazer for meetings or evening events. Works at a cocktail setting without a jacket over it. The concealed placket and sheen do enough. Tuck it in, let the collar sit open, and it reads deliberate without effort.
